We stopped by to drop something off at the Stockyards Brewing Company (at the historic Golden Ox space in Kansas City’s West Bottoms). We ended up spending an hour there, even though they weren’t open for the day.

The space is fantastic! Kept the basic “Ox” feel but turned it into something much more functional, contemporary, and (dare I say) clean. We were able to sample the beers, and they are all rock-solid, balanced brews. Robert really liked the saison, but is looking forward to a new style that will finish out and go online in a week or so (he wasn’t authorized to┬ásay what it is).
